Okita Soshi
He was a leading military leader of the first troop of Shinsen-gumi. He was well trained in the ways of the samurai. His technic and skills in fencing was admired by Shikanosuke Kojima and Isami Kondo. Okita became well known after the Ikedaya incident. Tragely he died at a young age due to illness. Some of his favorite swords was said to be made by Kashu Kanazawa, Fujiwara no Kiyomitsu, Kiku Ichimonji Norimane.
