Miyamoto Musashi
A master swordsman in early Edo era.
As a child he was called Bennosuke, later he called himself Genshin or was called by his nickname Niten.
He was taught "Jitte" by his father, later he adapted the style to fencing.
He called it "Niten Ichiryu."
In over 60 years of fencing, he was never defeated.
Among all the matches, the match with Sasaki Ganryu of Yoshioka was the most famous.
The swords made by Kazusanosuke Kaneshige are said to be his favorites.
